Cosmetic Dentistry

Modern cosmetic dentistry doesn't have to damage teeth and is more than crowns or veneers

Cosmetic dentistry can be as simple as whitening teeth or as complex as a smile makeover.

After a thorough assessment and discussion with what you are hoping to achieve from treatment, we can develop a personalised treatment plan which gets you the smile you desire.

Thanks! We will get back to you!

Tooth Whitening

Over time, teeth can naturally darken and this can be exacerbated by the food and drinks (such as red wine and coffee). Teeth whitening is a safe bleaching process which removes stains from teeth bringing back their natural sparkle!

Cosmetic Orthodontics (Invisible tooth straightening)

Teeth straightening is now not just commonplace in teenagers! With modern cosmetic braces, it is for everyone and can be so discrete the braces can be almost invisible.

Straightening can take as little as 6 months and unlike veneers does not do any irreversible damage to your teeth. Patients often combine teeth straightening with tooth bleaching for an amazing cosmetic result.

Stain removal treatment

Staining on teeth can age them and it can be caused by good living (such as red wine and coffee) and bad habits (such as smoking!).

Removal of this stain with 'jet polishing' can be a quick and easy way to rejuvenate your teeth.

Composite Fillings

White composite fillings mimic the tooth structure they are replacing and unlike silver amalgam fillings they can be invisible.

Replacing old failing amalgam fillings with aesthetic white composite fillings can really improve the cosmetic appearance of your mouth and smile.

Cosmetic crowns

Heavily broken down and filled teeth can be more susceptible to breaking and a crown can protect the tooth from further damage. Modern crowns have no metal in them so they don't have the dark collars around them any more and with state of the art ceramic materials they can look just like a natural tooth.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are a thin layer of porcelain which is bonded over the front of a tooth. This allows the shape, colour and aesthetics of a tooth (or teeth) to be improved. They can camouflage unsightly teeth, close gaps between teeth and make teeth more even.

Veneers do involve irreversible preparation of the underlying tooth and a lifetime of maintenance so often cosmetic tooth straightening and whitening can achieve similar results without the irreversible preparation of teeth.
